Our boutique approach brings the best of both worlds - deep industry knowledge, with the ability to be nimble and creative in how we address our clients’ needs.
We work to move law firms and companies from defense to offense in their hiring activity. Instead of passively waiting for the right resume to arrive, we work together to proactively target and recruit the ideal candidates to advance business goals. At the same time, we work closely with candidates to help them approach the interview process as a true conversation, and to use every tool possible to explore whether an opportunity is a fit.
Kelli started her recruiting career at a Fortune 500 company and built her business growing in-house legal departments throughout Silicon Valley. She has since led teams at several domestic and international search firms, and, through that experience, has developed a boutique approach that best serves her clients.
In the fall of 2018, Kelli launched KBF Search in order to bring this boutique approach to legal clients and candidates in the Bay Area and throughout California. In a short time, Kelli's tailored search efforts have moved individuals and teams into a wide range of domestic and international law firms and companies. Kelli continuously works with an extensive bench of partners, associates, in-house counsel and other senior-level legal professionals seeking their next opportunity.
Throughout her tenure as a recruiter, Kelli has worked with clients to determine the best approach to accomplishing their strategic growth objectives. She has a deep knowledge of the California market, and uses this expertise to present clients and candidates with strong options, and guide them through critical hiring decisions.
As a career recruiter and law firm growth strategist, Jennifer leverages her inside knowledge of law firm recruiting, retention, operations, and culture to help law firms and in-house legal departments attract and hire the best talent for their organizations. Over the past 15 years, Jennifer has guided hundreds of partners, associates, and senior staff across the country to their professional homes at law firms ranging in size from 50 to 1000+. She understands the nuances of moving candidates, groups and firms through unique hiring and onboarding processes, and the critical importance of building consensus along the way.
Jennifer’s holistic approach extends beyond recruiting. She works side-by-side with her clients to develop and implement growth strategies that involve targeted hiring, successful onboarding, and thoughtful integration. At the same time, Jennifer works with candidates to proactively identify the opportunities which offer the best substantive and cultural fit.
Over the course of her career, Jennifer has established a nationwide network of contacts from all corners of the legal community. These relationships are an important piece of how she delivers great service to clients, and great opportunities for candidates.
Susan has over 25 years of in-house law firm recruiting professional experience working for Am Law 50 firms, specializing in lateral partner, counsel and associate placements, firm mergers and combinations, and group placements.
Her in-depth knowledge and experience allows for a unique understanding of law firms and hiring practices. She recognizes what is needed to ensure a great match and successful lateral move at all levels.
She is a trusted advisor who supports firms and attorneys to provide guidance and communication throughout the process. Susan consults with candidates to develop their business case, find synergies with firms, and identify integration efforts needed to ensure smooth transitions - - something that starts during the interview process.
